Sometimes it is not so easy to understand the different tickets and fares and the corresponding validity areas. Therefore, we would like to enlighten you with this blog post, which ticket you need to travel from Soltau to Hamburg.

For journeys from Soltau or Munster in the direction of Hamburg, the various tickets of the hvv tariff are only valid if you change to the RB38 in Soltau (see in blue). If you travel from the stations mentioned above via Uelzen in the direction of Hamburg, you must show a ticket of the Lower Saxony fare (see in red).
