Bicycle transport

HERE YOU'LL FIND ALL THE IMPORTANT INFO FOR YOUR TRAVEL WITH START AND BICYCLE

We bring you quickly and safely to the starting points for your tour. But there are a few points to consider for a good ride..

Due to the €9 ticket, the trains are currently overcrowded, so we cannot guarantee bicycle transport on any of our lines at Heidekreuz and on the Weser/Lammetalbahn.

On weekends, from 3 p.m. Friday to 10 p.m. Sunday, bicycles are suspended on RB 37 and RB 38.

The Heide and the Weserbergland are known for their beautiful bike paths and are therefore a popular leisure destination in Lower Saxony. And since commuters are also using their bikes more and more often, we make it possible for you to simply take your bike or e-bike with you on the train.

But in advance of all planning: Taking your bike with you depends on how full it already is on the train. We are happy to take as many cyclists as possible, but if it gets crowded, safety suffers.

However, if space is warranted, feel free to drop off your bike in the multipurpose area. There are 8 bicycle parking spaces for you here. However, we ask you to remove your luggage and, if possible, secure your bike with a bike belt during the ride.

Please also note that wheelchair users, strollers and mobility-impaired persons have priority, both when boarding and when choosing a seat. Bicycle transportation is therefore only possible within the limits of available capacity.

Please also remember to buy a valid bike ticket before you start your trip. You can also get the corresponding bike ticket at our ticket machines, online or in our sales offices.

Whether you have to pay for your bike depends on the network. For more information, please visit the websites of the respective associations:
